Leave Bloomfield through the south
In Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea, the way out of Bloomfield is at the south of the village. The mist beside the forest is not the exit you need to clear first.
- Finish the tutorial tasks available in the village.
- Take the southern exit to start exploring the wider map.
- Gather mushrooms along the way to carry as food.
- Use map markers to remember useful paths and places you want to revisit.
Give each day a simple routine
Before heading out, water your ordinary crops unless it is raining, check your livestock’s feed, and inspect your field health with Soilbot. Keeping those chores together leaves more of the day for travelling.
Start with a manageable field rather than planting every available space. The farming guide explains soil care and the watering exceptions.
Explore beyond the first village
Some later requests need items from other regions. If a request is holding you up, explore another town and work on its first chapter instead of trying to finish everything in Bloomfield at once.
The first backpack upgrade is a useful early goal. A horse also makes longer trips easier. Touch the small map statues you pass to register their locations, and keep gathering food before a long outing.
