Wait for Rowena’s letter
Finish Bloomfield Chapter 1 and restore the Spirit Tree. The following day, Rowena sends a letter offering the first rucksack upgrade. Visit her at Bloomfield’s general store to take care of the request.

The first upgrade expands each item category from 10 slots to 30.
Make Fabric from sheep’s Wool
- Buy a Lamb from Fritz for 2,100G.
- Let it mature, then collect Wool.
- Use Rowena’s crafting service to turn 4 Wool into 1 Fabric.
Sheep produce Wool every few days, so you may need more than one shearing. Plan around the Wool you actually have rather than expecting a guaranteed completion day.
Gather and process Iron Ore
Find Iron Ore in Underhill Cave: travel along Bloomfield’s eastern coast, head south through shallow water past four islands, and continue to the end of the route. Wolfrock Cave west of the Spirit Tree is another place to check.
Take the ore to Rowena and check her crafting services. The request needs Iron, not unprocessed Iron Ore. Make the finished items before handing over the upgrade materials.
